Sunday in Corrales On the third Sunday of each month, Corrales MainStreet sponsors Sunday in Corrales. Multiple events with items of interest for the whole family occur in the village on these special days. Just a short drive from Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, escape to the picturesque Village of Corrales.

Begin Sunday in Corrales at the Growers Market from 9-noon and buy farm-fresh fruits and vegetables from the growers who harvest them.

Artists and Art abound in Corrales. Under the shade of the Cottonwoods in La Entrada Park come and meet the artists at Art in the Park from 10-4 pm. More than 40 artists including potters, painters, jewelers, sculptors will be there. For the children, the Corrales Society of Artists and the Corrales Kiwanis Club sponsor free youth art workshops at each of the Art in the Park events. Children of all ages are instructed in basic techniques using a wide variety of media. Pottery, bead making, drawing and mosaic glass work are just a few of the areas where children can make and take their own masterpieces. Galleries featuring local artists are scattered along Corrales Road. Some gallery owners are artists and will be there to answer your questions.

Music in the Village is a family friendly one hour concert at 1 pm. Tickets are available at the door of the Old Church for $10. Hear Next Chapter, who plays bluegrass on June 15; Ivan Rane, jazz guitar on July 20; Jim Jones and Friends on August 17. Music in the Village is sponsored by Corrales Cultural Arts Council.
